The Dreaming Festival 2009
Kula Films program
SUBMISSION FOR ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!
WRITERS, ACTORS, PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS AND MULTIMEDIA ARTISTS!

THE Dreaming Festival Kula films program in its fifth year celebrates Indigenous people’s stories in film and Multimedia Art,

The Dreaming Festival Film Program Criteria
• Open to Aboriginal and Torres St Islander and International First Nations peoples across all film mediums.
• Open to Non Indigenous film makers who have worked in collaboration with an Indigenous community, group or individual

Program decisions are not easy with several broader considerations occurring, such as the balance between the diverse art forms and genres programmed and the acts of local and international calibres; as well as the representation of the many language groups from rural, remote and urban communities.

The integrity, authorship and control of content will be from an Indigenous perceptive. All artists and or collaborative work will include and or involve work from artists who identify as Indigenous and or First nations peoples (That is those nations and groups who are recognised by WIPO and the United Nations Indigenous Working Party)

As the festival promotes collaboration and unification amongst all groups and has developed a number of Non Indigenous exchanges over the years any applications with Non - Indigenous Collaborations will be viewed on a project-by-project basis.
